It is to revive this spirit of revolution that the first national conference of Naujawan Bharat Sabha (NBS) was held on the occasion of the 107th birth anniversary of Bhagat Singh on 26-27-28 September at New Delhi’s Ambedkar Bhavan. There could not have been more opportune moment to organise the first national conference of an organisation which is inspired from the ideas of Bhagat Singh. It is to be noted that the name of the youth organisation which Bhagat Singh and his comrades had founded in 1926 in order to provide a new ideological base to the Indian revolutionary movement against the colonial slavery and to organise it afresh also happened to be Naujawan Bharat Sabha only. This name in itself symbolises the resolve to revive the great revolutionary legacy and to carry it forward.

नौजवान भारत सभा का प्रथम राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न
क्रान्ति की स्पिरिट को ताज़ा करने के मक़सद से ही भगतसिंह के 107वें जन्मदिवस के अवसर पर नौजवान भारत सभा (नौभास) का प्रथम राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन 26-27-28 सितम्बर नई दिल्ली के अम्बेडकर भवन में आयोजित किया गया जो सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न हुआ। भगतसिंह जैसे महान युवा क्रान्तिकारी के विचारों से प्रेरित इस संगठन के प्रथम राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन को आयोजित करने का इससे बेहतर मौका कोई नहीं हो सकता था। गौ़रतलब है कि 1926 में भगतसिंह और उनके साथियों ने औपनिवेशिक गुलामी के विरुद्ध भारत के क्रान्तिकारी आन्दोलन को नया वैचारिक आधार देने के लिए और एक नये सिरे से संगठित करने के लिए युवाओं का जो संगठन बनाया था उसका नाम भी नौजवान भारत सभा ही था। यह नाम अपने आप में उस महान क्रान्तिकारी विरासत को पुनर्जागृत करने और उसे आगे बढ़ाने के संकल्प का प्रतीक है।
