परीक्षा परिणामों में हुई धांधली का विरोध् कर रहे स्कूली छात्राओं और सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं पर दिल्ली पुलिस की ज़्यादतियों के ख़िलाफ़ पुलिस मुख्यालय पर विरोध् प्रदर्शन, दिल्ली पुलिस कमिश्नर ने घटना पर जाँच समिति गठित करने की बात कही।
उत्तर-पूर्वी दिल्ली के करावल नगर स्थित एक सरकारी स्कूल में नौवीं तथा ग्यारहवीं के परीक्षा परिणामों में 90% से भी ज़्यादा बच्चों को फेल घोषित कर दिया गया था। ज्ञात हो कि 1 अप्रैल को उक्त धांधली की शिकायत लेकर जब छात्राएँ स्कूल की प्रिंसिपल के पास पहुँची तो उन्होंने कोई ठोस जवाब देने के बजाय स्थानीय थाने को सूचना दे दी। स्कूल में पहुँचकर दिल्ली पुलिस के पुरुष पुलिसकर्मियों ने छात्राओं और उनकी माँओं के साथ मारपीट, धक्कामुक्की तथा बदतमीजी की। पुलिस की ज़्यादतियों का विरोध् क र रहे ‘नौजवान भारत सभा’ और ‘शहीद भगतसिंह पुस्तकालय’ के कार्यकर्ताओं को 4 अप्रैल को बिना कारण बताये जबरदस्ती हिरासत में ले लिया तथा उन्हें डराया धमकाया । उक्त घटना के ख़िलाफ़ स्कूली छात्राओं, नागरिकों, बुद्धिजीवियों , जन संगठनों तथा सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं ने 6 अप्रैल को पुलिस मुख्यालय पर विरोध् प्रदर्शन किया।
नौजवान भारत सभा (नौभास) के योगेश ने बात रखते हुए कहा कि परीक्षा परिणामों में हुई धंध्ली की यह कोई नयी घटना नहीं है। अभी हाल ही में दिल्ली के कई इलाकों में परीक्षा परिणामों में गड़बड़ी की शिकायत सुनने में आयी है। सरकारी स्कूलों के खस्ता हालात के लिए सरकारें जिम्मेदार हैं। जब छात्रा अपनी आवाज उठाते हैं तो पुलिस द्वारा उनका दमन किया जाता है ताकि वे चुप बैठ जायें। लेकिन हम बताना चाहते हैं कि किसी भी तरह के अन्याय के ख़िलाफ़ हम लड़ना नहीं छोड़ेंगे।
शहीद भगतसिंह पुस्तकालय के कार्यकर्ता शाममूर्ति ने कहा कि दिल्ली पुलिस का यह कुकृत्य किसी भी संवेदनशील व्यक्ति को बर्दाश्त नहीं हो सकता। आज अपने हक़ की आवाज उठानेवालों पर दमन पहले से ज़्यादा बढ़ गया है। लेकिन इसका मतलब यह नहीं है कि जुल्म का सहा जाय। आज भगतसिंह के उन शब्दों को याद करने की ज़रूरत है जिसमें उन्होंने कहा था कि, ‘अन्याय के विरुद्ध विद्रोह न्यायसंगत है।’
इसके बाद पुलिस आयुक्त को एक ज्ञापन सौंपा गया जिसमें दोषी पुलिसकर्मियों पर सख़्त कार्रवाई करने की माँग की गयी।
Protest demonstration was organized on 6th April 2016 at the Delhi Police Headquarters against the harassment of the activists of Naujawan Bharat Sabha and female school students by the Delhi Police, Delhi Police Commissioner has assured the protesters to inquire into the incident .
Activists of Naujawan Bharat Sabha working in North East Delhi were arrested by Delhi Police on 4th April late in the evening. The activists were arrrested by the Police after they had organized a public meeting on 1 April in Karawal Nagar, Delhi against the incident of manhandling and beating of female students and their parents by the Delhi Police. Due to pressure from common public and phone calls from intellectuals, journalists the Police had to release the activists. The activists while being released were threatened by the Police that if they dare to distribute pamphlets again or organize any meeting the consequences will be very severe.
Addressing the demonstration Yogesh, an activist with NBS who was also arrested and harassed by the Police said that this incident blows in the face of the tall claims that Police is there to serve the common people. Whenever the common man goes to the Police a blind eye of apathy is turned to his plight. He further added that when communal venom is spewed by fanatic outfits like RSS no action is taken by the Police let alone any pre emptive measures but when people try to raise the demands of education, health or employment that is immediately seen as a threat. That is what happened in this incident also. People gathered at the Protest demanded that strict action be taken against the Police officers involved in the incident and that such an incident should not be repeated where social activists and the common public is victimized.
